This code of ethics is established as a service to the public and to the industry to declare the precepts and practices to which all members of the Alberta Textile Care Association subscribe as a condition of membership

As a Member of Alberta Textile Care Association
We 'Promise To:
  • Treat our customers at all times with tact and courtesy.
  • Provide our customers with the best advice and to render skilled and conscientious services.
  • Inform customers fully about any potential adverse effects that a garment or fabric may undergo during the cleaning process.
  • Advise customers about the care label instructions, where these instructions may have adverse effects on the garment as a whole.
  • Conform with all applicable health, safety and environmental legislation and regulations
  • Maintain the highest concern for the health, well-being and safety of all our customers, employees, and the general environment.
  • Promote improvements in operations and practices in order to better serve our customers.
  • Preserve the highest standards and conduct our business in the laundering and drycleaning industry in a responsible manner.
  • Protect the environment by using only the best professional processes in the industry.
  • Uphold the principles of this code, and in the event of a complaint by a customer, to place all pertinent facts before the Association.
